Stampings are made of brass and shaped cold by a press or other methods. They are usually single sided and very light (not always- please inquire about specific items.) Due to the reactivity of unfinished brass (tendency to darken, pit, discolor) we offer our stampings in one or more of the finishes listed above.
Castings are made of pewter (tin) and other metals and are poured molten into a mold. They tend to be heavy and dimensional (not always - please inquire about specific items.) To protect the color, castings are often sealed with a lacquer (our finish #7.) They may also be available in one or more of the finishes listed above.
